Is BitmapFromImage implemented in wxPerl?

No, BitmapFromImage doesn't exist, so it can't possibly be implement, there is no such thing as http://docs.wxwidgets.org/trunk/search.php?query=wxBitmapFromImage

What am I missing?

Go to http://docs.wxwidgets.org/trunk/classwx_image.html and search for "bitmap" and you'll have your answer in about 5 seconds

Or go to http://docs.wxwidgets.org/stable/wx_wxbitmap.html and search for "wxImage"

Like my wxWidgets / wxPerl / wxGlade tutorial,http://www.wxperl.it/p/wxperl-primer.html explain, wxPerl will recognize that you're giving ->new a Wx::Image so it isn't necessary to call newImage explicitly
