in reply to The Drama of Being a Developer III - Portal me this, Portal me that

Is he Excited?!? - Yes, of course
Is he Frustrated?!? - .-=*Answered deleted due to improper, vulgar language and "terrorist like" threats*=-.?
Is he Ready to finally do what he has been ready and wanting to do for almost three years?!? - Hell yeah, baby, Bring it!!

And unfortunately, he either complies or the pointy-haired bosses will show him to the door. I've known a couple of guys in my career who buckled and basically didn't express any will nor ability to adapt to the albeit unfavourable change. Unfortunately, many a times in this economy once you are led to the door, it's hard to find that other dream job. More often than not, you'll end up with even worse alternative and have no choice by then since your creditors are now sitting atop your head try to sqeez a buck out.

Appears this is the karma every developer has to come to face to face in their professional career. The big word is 'adapt'. I'm about to go through a major adaptation in my career as well... as I had already mentioned in my earlier post titled Perl falls victim to shifting trends
