in reply to A bad scripting section for teaching examples?
Bad examples can be dangerous things, but they can, if properly dealt with, be constructive. For example the "Red Flags and Repair" columns on Perl.com by Dominus:
- Program Repair Shop and Red Flags
- Return of Program Repair Shop and Red Flags
- Program Repair Shop and Red Flags
- Idiotic Perl from davorg
- 'Synthetic' Code
Looks like a lot of work to do, but I think well documented and argued, that "poor code" can be useful. I'm sure brian d foy would like an article written for next months Perl Review.
