Perl-Critic has racked up nearly 100 bug reports. Unfortunately, the Perl-Critic team is busy putting bread on the table these days, and we're not able to give it all the love and care it deserves. So if you have some spare cycles and would like to contribute to an exciting and widely-used project, I invite you to join the team.

Just go to http://perlcritic.tigris.org and request a "Developer" role in the project (You'll need to register with Tigris first). Then take your pick from the bug queue at rt://Perl-Critic. The code is well organized, documented, and has excellent test coverage. We are happy to answer any newbie questions and help you get started.

Or if you just want to contribute your ideas and suggestions, then please join our developer mailing list by sending a message to dev-subscribe@perlcritic.tigris.org

Finally, I sincerely thank all of you who have submitted bug reports -- your time and effort is deeply appreciated.

Update: Apparently, you cannot directly request a "Developer" role. However, if you request the "Observer" role, I will automatically promote you to the "Developer" role which has commit privileges. Sorry for the confusion
