Generating packages for deployment via: pp -F Bleach -C -P -d - o pname pname.pl

I really need to avoid recreating the dev system as its too much work (thats the point of using pp)

What do you think that generates? Esp, what do you think the -P option does?

Solution is to NOT use the -P option, as the -P option avoids recreating your dev system.

The -P option turns a 269 byte perl script into 25Kb perl script. It does not replace perl install. perl.exe alone is at least ~45Kb. The smallest pp generated binary executable I've seen has been 1.6M.
