Perl Monks purchases Randal L. Schwartz in YAPC Auction

At the YAPC::NA Auction last night, Randal L. Schwartz (merlyn) donated (for bid) his time and attention for the duration of one lunch. Building on our efforts last year, Perl Monks in attendance pooled our bid to force^Wbring Randal along for the PerlMonks BOF Lunch. After much chaos, the winning bid was jointly from PerlMonks, Charlotte.pm, and two non-monks, who will join us for the BOF. The total bid was $299, and the actual donation was *substantially* higher (Chaos, I say!).

This is a fine tradition in the making. Kudos to all!
