You're barking up the wrong tree. My point is that the belief you attribute to Ada's insanity is in fact a religious belief that underwent a significant popularization during Ada's lifetime. I can understand why you equate this belief with insanity, but you are mistaken. People who can sense non-animal consciousness have never gotten much farther in explaining themselves than those trying to describe colors to the blind...	[reply]
