Oh, and I do something to counteract it already...fairly large doses of ginkgo biloba. Even though I know it's probably not healthy in the long run, I sometimes drain two liters of Mountain Dew in a day, along with my own herbal cocktail of ginseng, eyebright, ginkgo biloba, and astragalus. If I'm drinking coffee (or tea, as I have been lately, because there's so damn much of it in my home) then it's usually a much lower caffeine intake, usually just a pot of coffee or a pot of tea.

Back in HS, I actually got to the point where I drank four liters of Mountain Dew every single day, and my time perception was totally bizarre. I literally cannot access that time period normally. (My VCR analogy: Think of watching SP in SLP mode.)

The only reason I happened to slip back into this temporal rate is because one of my sisters dared me to go off caffeine altogether for 30 days. I did. I went right back on it afterwards, but I didn't ramp the intake back up.

But after I stopped - the whole world snapped back into place. It was really, really weird.</field>
