But Valentine's day is good for laughing at people who don't know what their symbols really represent.&lt;p&gt;

If you have ever seen a heart (human or animal, doesn't matter), you know darned well that a "heart-shape" isn't very heart shaped.  But it does bear an amazing resemblance to a private piece of female anatomy.  Care to guess what Cupid's "arrow"  might have been originally?&lt;p&gt;
