I get &lt;u&gt;too&lt;/u&gt; lazy when just writing quick scripts for personal use.  It takes to long to type&lt;code&gt;
use strict;
&lt;/code&gt; when your script is only like 5 lines. And who needs formatting when its done it gets deleted.
