&lt;li&gt;[isbn://0596100922|Perl Testing: A Developer's Notebook] is an excellent book.  It's a pleasure to read and full of examples.  I hadn't written a single test before reading that book - now I'm hooked. :-)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;[http://search.cpan.org/~nwclark/perl-5.8.8/lib/Test/Tutorial.pod|Test::Tutorial] is a good tutorial and a great place to start.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;[cpan://Test::Simple] and [cpan://Test::More] are two modules that provide a lot of basic testing capability.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Search the [cpan://Test] namespace on [http://search.cpan.org|CPAN] - there are a lot of other testing modules available.
