note johngg I saw an article on Perl in Dr. Dobbs which piqued my interest. I found a copy of perl 4.036 on a Sun User Group Deutschland CDROM so I installed it to try. Perl has been my language of choice ever since. I just loved the way you can throw strings around without breaking sweat.
