In Outlook, you can use angle brackets to contain your links, which works with either style of link and avoids the need for %20 spaces:

&lt;/code&gt;
or
&lt;code&gt;
&lt;\\myserver\mymappeddir\mydir\my spaced dir\&gt;
&lt;/code&gt;
