perlquestion apl I'm finally seeing laptops and notebooks being sold <b>without</b> Windows pre-installed. This is moving me to consider buying one. <p>My questions are: which flavor of *nix do you use on yours? Is it tolerably well-behaved? Reasonable utilities readily available for it? Any pros that would tempt me, or cons I should be aware of? <p>I use Solaris at work, have never used any flavor of Linux, but realize this is an area I really should get familiar with.
