note sth MacBooks are nice, as many have already indicated, but it is hard to justify the price (for me at least) when I can find a Toshiba with a dual core cpu, 2 gig of ram, 15.4" display, ...etc for $599 on sale. It comes with Windows Vista installed, but you can just install over it. As far as what *nix I use, it is FreeBSD everywhere. :-) 670926 670926
