strange. seems whatever perl programmers do, it's wrong. the usual accusation is, "elitist" code is short and difficult to read. now you accuse "elitists" to write modern code with best practices that might take a bit more space. so what can the elitists actually do to be &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; accused? *sigh*</field>
