I would guess that if you're unable to successfully make the case for Perl-on-LLVM, you're in a bad spot for championing it at all. Of course, actually looking at the p5p archives doesn't indicate to me why Perl-on-LLVM should be off-topic on p5p. But then again, I have only looked superficially, as it's not central to my interests.</field>
