Here, you can post requests for action to the PerlMonks site janitors. However, this normally should not be necessary, and is considered a route of last resort.Deprecated; in fact, so deprecated that the form for posting no longer exists on this page.
Instead, use one of the suggestions below, after reviewing What do Janitors do?.
The preferred way to make such requests is through the consideration process.
However, you must be Friar in order to do that. Monks of lower levels need other means.
The next best way is probably to enter the chatterbox, see if there are any janitors about, and discuss the matter with them. Even if there are no janitors chatting in the cb, there will almost certainly be some Friars who can create the consideration for you.
Failing even that, we suggest that you simply /msg janitors with your request. They will see it in their inbox.
If all of the above fail to get your request noticed by the janitors, posting here probably won't work either. :-)
I put some broken javascript code in my free nodlet and now Internet Explorer won't load the web page when I am logged in. This makes it impossible for me to reach my user settings and correct the matter. Could you either turn off my free nodlet or delete the offending code?
I would like to request a table of content listing for my tutorial thread. And I'm willing to go through whatever approval process is appropriate.
I'd also like to suggest adding a new category for sorting, as there are a few additional threads that deserve to be listed under this category including Complex Sorting and Resorting to sorting.
However, if the sorting category isn't an option at this point, under the "Miscellaneous Perl Tutorials" is fine.
I have /msg'd QandAEditors asking for a modification to node 452025 and waited semi-patiently for someone to at least acknowledge that I had requested a change. First /msg was sent around 12 hours ago, latest sent within the last hour.
After a discussion about negative numbers with Roy Johnson, I discovered several problems with the code within that node. I have created some code to fix those problems, and made that available via my scratchpad.
I would like the updated code on the scratchpad to replace the bad code that currenly exists in the above linked node.
Am I expecting the Q&A people to respond faster than they typically do? Or is there some reason I've been ignored (at least thats the way I'm feeling now, it maybe I'm not) so far?
PASSED REQUEST ON TO CONSIDERATION PROCESS.

NB: I sent this as a /msg to janitors, but then I realized that an Editor request would have been more appropriate.
I don't know how I did this, but after sending a node of my one for consideration, now the "Nodes to consider" node is a big mess... Very sorry.
It seems that the problem my have something to do with the fact that I used links of the form [123456] (which I did intentionally, not aware that they would cause any problem).
