I am based in Oxford, in the UK. I work for New Internationalist as CIO/IT Manager/head geek. On my Charlie Harvey site, I write about Perl, GNU/Linux, Free and Open Source software, good cider, activism and occasionally other stuff. In my spare time I play with even more computers and I'm involved in activism against poverty, abuses of human rights and environmental degradation.
