atan2

See the current Perl documentation for atan2.

Here is our local, out-dated (pre-5.6) version:

atan2 - arctangent of Y/X

atan2 Y,X

Returns the arctangent of Y/X in the range -PI to PI.

For the tangent operation, you may use the POSIX::tan() function, or use the familiar relation:

    sub tan { sin($_[0]) / cos($_[0])  }

[Corion]: dazz: BTW, the following should work (no Image::Magick installed, so untested): open(my $fh, '<', \$jpegbuffer); $image->Read(file= > $fh);
[choroba]: Hm, it seems my humble contributions to CPAN pass their test suites with the PERL5OPT set
[Corion]: choroba: I think most of my distributions still do, but some use Module::Install from inc and some use a modulino-style Makefile.PL to provide information to the author tests, so I certainly need/want to retest mine
