Jukari has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I seek Perl Monk wisdom. Are there any Sound Recording modules that work with Windows 7? I've looked into: Win32::SoundRec; (Fails when making) Audio::DSP; (Failes when making) C:\Users\Redman\Desktop\Downloads\Audio>perl makefile.pl Set up gcc environment - gcc.exe (rubenvb-4.5.4) 4.5.4 Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Writing Makefile for Audio::DSP Writing MYMETA.yml C:\Users\Redman\Desktop\Downloads\Audio>make makefile make=dmake make: *** No rule to make target `C:\Perl64\libConfig.pm', needed by ` +makefile'. Stop. I need something to record via Microphone to the computer... any sugge +stions? Thanks
