in thread Windows strawberry perl Getopt::Long fails

Works, but could I eliminate the "perl \strawberry\c\bin\":

C:\>perl \strawberry\c\bin\ -l diebelr -s dynprod,aimprod
Getopt fails:
C:\> -l diebelr -s dynprod,aimprod XX 0 YY 0 Use of uninitialized value $LGN in concatenation (.) or string at C:\s +trawberry\ c\bin\ line 43, <DATA> line 101. Use of uninitialized value $LGN in concatenation (.) or string at C:\s +trawberry\ c\bin\ line 47, <DATA> line 101.
Can't find script:

Add your perl directory: c:\strawberry\c\bin\ to your path.

Found the answer here: Registry setting was: C:\bin\perl.exe "%1" Needed to be: C:\bin\perl.exe "%1" %*
could you help me a bit further? I'm not familiar enough with the Registry to find the incantation.
