If you just want to be informed about answers to your posts, go to Message Settings and check "/msg me when there's a reply to one of my posts". The chatterbox sidebar is automatically refreshed and will show these messages. RAT uses a lot of resources, I doubt that the gods will ever provide an automatic refresh.
