My God. Several years later i just have the same technical question this guy had. Need to print to a Brother QL Labelprinter from Perl using Linux. I thought i may find an technical answer here, but all i read is a bunch of answers full of crappy bullshit. You Perl-Honks could have used your time better trying to give him a useful answer instead of blaming him for not using google. You suck!

you can use openoffice, openoffice has commandline interface (you can google that part yourself)
