Ombongi.Moraa has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hello Perl Users,
My provider shared these .xml files which I've come to understand to be the wsdl files. The Provider provides a ParlayX-based interface through which I will be sending and receiving messages rather than through the traditional SMPP(which they are scrapping).
I'm not sure where to start. Never touched XML, or SOAP and I need someone to at least give me a clue on how I will start.
The sendSms interface expects values for these elements, addresses, senderName, charging, message and receiptRequest.
The provider has given me the endpoints to use.
I want to use perl to send the message. How do I write the script? I've checked out SOAP::Lite but the documentation provided are not as descriptive as most perl packages I've worked with. So I'm having trouble using it.
I just require at least a sample script that will forward the messages as soap requests. then I can study this and work on the other aspects.
Thanks.
