Obviously he likes voting a lot! ;-)

From Saints in our Book I notice that:

    • Erudil has 10,570 experience from just thirteen nodes, highest node rep 763, lowest a measly 100!
    • By way of contrast, Saint AdamQuark has garnered 4001 reputation from just four nodes, with a highest node rep of 18, a gem offering some ironic advice on how to improve your reputation: "The best way to improve your status here is to acquire knowledge, then share that knowledge with others, they, along with other monks, will assist by elevating your status".
    • First prize for boosting reputation without going to the bother of actually posting anything goes to Spooty, a Saint with ten years of Perl Monks experience and 7462 reputation, yet we are still waiting for his first node!

I think the first prize goes to Khayos, the mute Saint with the celtic dragon as his homenode image. He has entered the Book years earlier than Spooty.

Looking at the flamewar on the last poll, his wow of silence is refreshing!

Well if we wanna seriously discuss the rep/post ratio of different popes, it's worth observing that immediate reply levels are better voted then deeper ones.

The newest pope doesn't tend to go into deep discussions, while others are known for fighting till their keyboard breaks. And deep discussions means many low voted posts.

The reputation system has many limitations and the average "popularity"¹ of posts should be only compared by level (Re:, Re^2: and so on) and answer time.

Anyway plz don't misunderstand me, I'm not advocating to add new statistics to the monastery!!!

      Cheers Rolf

¹) not to be confused with "quality". =)

Well, the software is ... what the software is.   (Translation:   if you don’t like it, you just volunteered to debug it!)   ;-)   ;-)   ;-)
