shan_emails has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Monks

I need to install DBD::Oracle module in the Linux RedHat server, and this box is having the oracle client (Oracle version is: 11.2.0.3.0), for that i set the below environment variables

export PATH=$PATH:/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1/bin export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0 +/client_1/lib export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1 export ORACLE_DSN='dbi:Oracle:DB_Name' export ORACLE_USERID='USERID/PASSWORD'

While i am trying manually to connect database via terminal using sqlplus, i can able to connect the database with the above credential
But While i am trying to install i got the below error

You can probably safely install that - force the install if doing it from CPAN shell. You can ignore the TO_DO test and the 63 one could not run because you did not have sufficient privileges. However, I'd be interested in the full output from the 56embedded.t test as something did go wrong here (but likely with the test rather than DBD::Oracle. Please run:

    prove -vb t/56embedded.t

    and post the output.
