made it to stderr (my fault supressing it - sorry....)
error msg is:
unable to load Perl module IO::Pty

not that surprising - but still funny that I can preload it.

    right, but inspecting the strace output would allow us to see why it is failing to load when called from MCE.
      after checking the strace nothing special was found...
