I recommend debian, because it's a good package manage tool which helps newbie to keep away from annoyance of module installation(mostly because of XS module)

    Righto. Debian it shall be then. Went out with wife for some weekend shopping, bought a Linux Magazine that had Debian DVD. Came back home and found your message. I'll take that as a sign :)
