Actually, I was simply trying to find a way to type those tags, without the form thinking I was trying to type PerlMonks-approved HTML into it. Sorry for the confusion!

Ah, for that I go old school:

    &lt;a&gt; yields <a>, for example.

      whereas I recently updated to <c>-tags as in <c>\a</c> and <c>\d</c>: \a and \d

      Cheers, Sören

        TestTagOneThis is a test tag/TestTagOne.

Holding breath and punching the "preview" button ...

        Grr. Trying again:

        <TestTagOne>This is a test tag</TestTagOne>.

Holding breath and punching the "preview" button ... again ...

        Okay, once more, with feeling:

        <TestTagOne>This is a test tag</TestTagOne>.

        Third time's a charm?

        w00T!
