In the argument "line noise vs. significant whitespace", I opted for the latter
It's not just the significant whitespace issue; though that is possibly the most frequently annoying. Other things I remember:
- Scoping is weird.
- Documentation is crap.
- Library (dis)organisation.
- colons; thus the lack of multiline anonymous subs.
- The general lack of coherence.
With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday'
Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
"Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority".
In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.
