What is the dinosaur supposed to be ? a camel?

For those who are wondering why a velociraptor was chosen instead of a camel for the badge, here's a blog post from Mark Keating on the Evolution of the Velociraptor that gives a background on how this particular dinosaur became associated with Perl 5.
