in reply to perl software

Please perlmonks help me to install and learn perl in my secured box!

Not Thanks.

NOT because I don't want to help you to be fired

NOT because to show you how to bypass your sysadmin is not fair. This poor guy/girl needs to be prevented that a total novice is messing around with a powerful language that could lead to bugs lurking for months, vanishing and appearing again some days later. Needs to be aware that a novice could be inadvertently creating a lot of holes of security in the system or net that is their responsability. Or even blowing up by mistake the machine creating the prototype for the main product of your company.

Is not fair, nor a nice move to the company that is paying your bills.

I encourage you to learn perl in your own PC, in your house ... or in your office but in this case always UNDER the surveillance and help of your boss and in the right machine
