perlthanks is "just" perlbug except you don't get prompted for the error message. So I expect perlthanks@perl.org to be heavily filtered for emails that really look as if they have been sent via perlbug. Also, I don't expect them to enter RT, because they are not really bugs.

On the other hand, there has been some mailing list wonkyness, and I'm not sure if it is related to booking.com or the mailing list hosting by perl..
