Professional and hobby programmer using maybe a dozen languages on Linux and Windows. Jill of all trades, master of none.

I've been using Perl on and off since the Pink Camel book was published (and I couldn't afford to buy a copy). Although Perl and I have both come a long way since, sometimes on the same road, sometimes separately, I still feel like a beginner. This can be helpful; it keeps me humble and reminds me that there's always something new to learn.

[stevieb]: for the first time ever, I will have 100% of the documentation and unit tests written for a new distribution before writing even a single character of the C or Perl code required :)
[hippo]: Congrats. I expect the resulting code to be rock solid. :)
[stevieb]: Thanks hippo, as do I, as if it's not, hardware peripherals or sensors could be destroyed (code has to be reliable when dealing with input/output voltages)
