I protect my computer from viruses:

• With antivirus software.
• By having a good backup strategy
• I run everything inside a virtual machine.
• By being smart about it.
• My system is not connected to the Internet
• I use Un*x

Personally, i like virii. I think it sounds a lot nicer than the clumpy viruses. Oh well.
