smita has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
hi All,
I have a simple script which uses Xalan-c_1_11.dll for XML document. the script works fine with perl 5.10 (it throws the error for the missing XSLT key in perl 5.10, which is expected in 5.12 as well, but it exit perl.) but on perl 5.12.2 it exit and throws the error " Perl.exe has stopped working".
i tried all possible ways to capture the error and signals, but nothing worked so far. Xalan is being 3rd party tool, and works fine with perl 5.10, is it perl interpreter issue? how can i capture the error or how can i stop it from abrupt perl.exe exit?
Please suggest something. Can not share the perl code as its not possible.
