The picture is me on christmas. You see something of the decoration. The small stars on the table were made by my sister.
I am a german mathematician, finished my diploma on July 12th 2002. Now I am working on my PhD-thesis, once again in the area of stochastic analysis.
First contact with perl was in the end of June 2001, when my boyfriend gave me "Learning perl" as a birthday present (i wanted it, because i have to do some programming for the webpages (to begin soon) of a research group.
Main thing is to make the english and the german list of preprints consistent, so we decided to use XML for data storage, our new miniproject is to make a list of the talks in the seminars, and to generate it automatically.
This is finished! We did it last week, now the hopefully last thing would be to convert AMSTeX to AMSLaTeX (that is LaTeX with the amsmath-package), because we have a collection of all abstracts, and we get them from the authors (where every author's secretary has her own preferences). After that it should be nearly no work to include a new preprint ;-)
I will be in Moscow from May 17th to May 22nd. After that I vanish again in Bielefeld.
became scribe on Feb 07,2002!
