Like all the others…you should “use Template Toolkit…” You definitely want to cleanly separate the concern of “what does the HTML page look like” from the concern of “what should go in it,” and TT is a rugged, efficient solution… Holy crap. All the others? This is the opposite of what I said and it’s wrong besides. TT being a mini-language promotes unclean code by affording complex logic and directives in the View layer and TT is the most inefficient Perl template engine in common use.
