Hi jimav,

For further details see recompile at CPAN documentation.

As side note be aware that cpan -r Not::Existing::Module it's bugged: see cpan client problem with strawberry portable and particularly Re^4: cpan client bug in 'r' command? (fixed).

The bug, as you can see in the above threads, has been fixed, even if i dunno if the patched version was already released.
