"Tough Beans" Questions That No One Can Reply To

by sundialsvc4 (Abbot)
on Jan 06, 2018 at 02:15 UTC ( #1206792=monkdiscuss: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I do not confess to fully understand why permission denied ... tough beans is out there, and of course, given who I am, it might be just-me. But I see posts out there today, for instance which have no replies and which (I) cannot reply to. Is this mechanism actually working as intended? Or is there some kind of bug here?

    But I see posts out there (...)

    Which post? Node id? The "Tough Beans" stanza is the substitute for node content which is not viewable to the general public, logged in or not. So, no node content is shown when "Tough Beans" appear.

    Please post the node ID in question and the link you were trying to follow from that one.

    There might be a bug, but without further information there is no entry point to track it down. Generally, the "Tough Beans" are working as intended.

    perl -le'print map{pack c,($-++?1:13)+ord}split//,ESEL'

    If there is a problem with the site, it would be both prudent and logical to inform where you're having problems.

    Issues with the site are obviously very important.

    I've seen these before, so my hunch is that they're not an issue. I could be wrong though.

    For example:

        http://perlmonks.com/?node_id=100

    say  substr+lc crypt(qw $i3 SI$),4,5

    awesome bug report. I'm glad you can't reply, you have nothing to add here.
