A little bit off topic- but hey it is monday, so the monestarty should have light traffic anyway, and I see quite a few apache questions posted here. has a few articles on perl this week. There is one written by Stas Bekman on installing mod_perl without superuser priviliges. I found the directions incredibly straight forward. The article can be found here There is also a couple of articles on perl basics on the site.

And again, these articles by Stas are simply excerpts from the mod_perl Guide, which you should read if you intend to use mod_perl.
