I
Perl

Perl programmers do it
more than one way

One of a few monks handling both the bottom end (bass) and the back end (Perl).

As with other disciplines, I find that the more I learn Perl, the more I realize how little I know.

Love this site, because I learn a lot just hanging out. There is certainly no shortage of quality reading here.

I love writing good solid code. I think it's great to be able to create something that runs over and over again, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Automation is very cool.

I am a web application developer for a living. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my 3 kids. Somehow, they teach me much more than I teach them. Can't wait to teach them Perl.

I love VI. :)

Is the bass clef an ancient emoticon? Check out the troubled face in my user image up near the top of this node. The original bass-face.

Note: I am neither this person, nor this person.

I am, however, also known as Rocco Contraption.

I was apparently the winner of the 300,000 nodes (just for fun) contest. Considering the prize, it's probably better that I never received it. :-)
