Although not nesseccarily a cartoon, but animated all the same: Heavy Metal!

Man, I remember sneaking up late at night when the parents were asleep to pop that video in the tape player...got me through elementary school ;-)

[Corion]: At least if you're appending the data read to a larger buffer, this means you avoid the situation of "a delimiter was found but the other half has not been read yet"
