On average i would say it takes about five (5) seconds for a page to display, where an average page on the internet would take 0.5 secs.
Five seconds? I would think that's rather snappy, for this site (perlmonks.org). I regularily see response times of over half a minute per page.

Whatever you may think of it, I can't see it as good publicity for the Everything system.
