I replied make however it's actually...
# whoami belg4mit # perl -MCPAN -e 'make Foo::Bar' # su % make install
I prefer to keep copies of everything I install, and intermediate files as non-root.

perl -wpe "s/\b;([mnst])/'$1/g"
