in reply to nmake, CPAN and Modules not listed in PPM

I've only tried using the CPAN a couple of times and it never worked for me either the error I've gotten is as follows:

Makefile:653: *** missing separator. Stop. c:\MinGW\bin\make.exe -- NOT OK Running make test Can't test without successful make Running make install make had returned bad status, install seems impossible Running make for A/AN/ANDK/CPAN-1.63.tar.gz Is already unwrapped into directory \perl\.cpan\build\CPAN-1.63\. CPAN.pm: Going to build A/AN/ANDK/CPAN-1.63.tar.gz Makefile:680: *** missing separator. Stop. c:\MinGW\bin\make.exe -- NOT OK Running make test Can't test without successful make Running make install make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
If this information could lead to a solution I would like to hear it too.
