Liberty Alliance support in Perl

prostoalex has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I was looking to implement some common authentication scheme, as I want the users to personalize the contents, but don't really want to require them to register and go through the process.

It looks like one of the options was Microsoft Passport for Linux, which includes some Perl examples and sample code.

However, what about the Liberty Alliance Project authentication scheme? The specs are up, does anyone know of a Perl module or perhaps some sample code to implement Liberty protocols?

Thanks,
Alex

I found this email discussion with a quick google. It might be a helpful lead.

It refers to MACS (Modular Access Control System) getting support for Liberty Alliance soon.
