This is for the fans of wxPerl. The last development verision, wxPerl 0.13, was released.

New Features:

  • Wx::Wave
  • Wx::MemoryFSHandler
  • Wx::Perl::Carp
  • Wx::Socket* (Sockets without block the GUI & with events)
  • Mac OS X support. (Yes, it works on Mac OS X! ;-P)
  • This version will build with wxWindows 2.4.0++, and the published binarys (on SF) are with 2.4.1. you can find binarys for Win32 and Linux. For Mac OS X you will need to compile by your self, for now. Just follow the instructions inside ./docs inside sources.

    You can find it at:
    http://wxperl.sourceforge.net/ & http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxperl.
    And CPAN:
    http://search.cpan.org/author/MBARBON/Wx-0.13/.

    From version 0.13, wxPerl allow building of external modules (XS outside of the wxPerl tree). The first module that use this is Wx::ActiveX (that have Wx::ActiveX::IE). You can find it at::
    http://search.cpan.org/author/GMPASSOS/Wx-ActiveX-0.02/.
    Binarys soon...
