in reply to run perl script

Why are you using a HTML button?
Just run it from command line and the MD-DOS window won't disapper.
So you can see the result.

If you don't want to see the dialog box anymore,
when the dialog box comes up,
select 'Open this file from it's current location.',
and then uncheck the box that says:
'Always ask before opening this type of file.'
then hit ok and the dialog-box won't come up anymore.

It wont work in a command like for me. I'm running WinXP, I go Start > Run > cmd In DOS box, I type 'perl' without the quote and it says back "'perl' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." How do I run this script then?
